Finally made an account, I have read through many of the post and forms on here and couldn't really find any performance mods that were reasonable or that would be the normal on other vehicles. Maybe it's just me but it doesn't seem like people mod these cars very much.
I've had my 2000 TL for awhile now and wanted to make it nicer and kinda havent been able to find much on these cars but here's what I've done.
-18x8 enkei wheels with new tires cant remember the size
-20 mm wheel spacers
-hid lows with led highs, led reverse and brake lights. Blue interior lighting
-resenator delete on stock air box
-Manzo headers with cat delete straight pipe to flowmaster muffler single in dual out to 4 inch tips 2.5 inch pipe from headers back
-egr delete, made my own blocker plate
-double din aftermarket radio with some phoenix gold speakers
And that's about it, I know there has to be other people that have moded out there car and souped up the engine a little but I was a little lost on what to do next or what to look at for a next mod. Any help would be awesome if youd chime in with information. I am mainly looking at performance/ aesthetic mods but any mods yall have done would help thank you!
Accidentally spilled a whole cup of soda right onto my passenger side floor and went back to work (i was already running late on my way coming back from break) I patted it down with some napkins but it was still pretty soaked... came out 4 hours later and my car wouldnt start ....it was making a weird clicking noise like if the starter was gone or battery, the lights inside the car were flashing, and every error code and light on the dash kept flashing any time I tried hit the push start... I left it Parked at my job overnight and around 8 am next day when I came back the floor was still pretty damp and the car was still not starting and the clicking noises and codes etc... The twist is that when the tow truck came the driver just went ahead and gave it a boost and she turned right on... I still had towed to Acura and they are checking it tomorrow... my questions are: could that spilled drink have caused this?? Would something like this be covered under warranty? If not, would insurance take care of it ?? Should I tell them a drink was spilled ?? Thanks so much in advance . Peace.

I notice something odd about the center air vent today..
The air vent on the right side (where my hand is) has air coming out but the other one on the left does not have any air coming out. I can't feel anything on the left but on the right, it's normal..
This is a little weird to me...

Saw that it's pretty common for the cup holder slider on the center console to break, and that once it starts breaking, even if you fix it, it's only going to break some more. Mine just broke yesterday.
So has anyone ever tried making a custom one instead of buying the whole cup holder assembly as replacement? Must be something that could be done.
BASED Model Acura RDX 2013-2018 Cargo Cover. Part Number 08Z07-TX4-210 Purchased new from dealer, never installed. This part is for the BASE model RDX and not the Tech Model and yes there is a difference. Price is $50 to cover cost of shipping Fedex Ground and handling, otherwise, this will end up in landfill.
i recently got a 02 tl s and everthing was fine for about 5 hours. when i got it i noticed the 1 (D1) light stayed on at all times but i figured i would figure it out. after i filled up the tank the day i got it, it wouldnt shift out of park so i forced it with the override thing. for the next week it would sometimes shift out of park when it wanted to but if i forced it out of park the tranny would shift at high rpms, when it decides to shift out of park, it shifts fine, super smooth, so lately its been parked cause i dont want to mess up the tranny.
i switched out the shifter assembly so the 1 light is now gone, but it still wont shift out of park.
the brake lights light up when i press them, so im assuming the brake light switch is fine.
previous owner spilled coffee on the shifter so im assuming it was shorted but the harness has since been cleaned as well as a new but used shifter assembly.
i am so lost right now, the car will nt shift out of park at all, no check engine lights at the moment.
any help woulp be appreciated, im willing to try everthing.
Hi folks, newbie here! Searched for this to no avail, but don't kill me if I missed it! lol Recently purchased an 07 MDx w/ tech pkg. Plugged in the HF module, which was unplugged by previous owner. Got voice recognition, but when I tried to pair my Moto G6, had no success. I referred to the Acura Owners site and my phone was not listed as one of the phones that will work. Does this mean I'm out of luck, or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any input and hoping to learn alot from youse guys!
Hey guys, I recently purchased a 2010 TL SH-AWD with technology package after my 2006 TSX was totaled. I absolutely love the car and was a tremendous upgrade from the TSX. I look forward to learning more and eventually doing some upgrades and possibly a wrap.
My question for anyone running this combo is if you've noticed any negative impacts or lean conditions? If you have flashpro then you'll obviously notice that theres only the reflashed calibration available for our years as opposed to the 6 or 7 calibrations available for 07-09. I want to purchase the CP-e but want to avoid any situation where I have to do any additional tuning. Thanks in advanced.
I have a 2012 Acura TL 120k on it. I am wondering if anyone else experiences this issue. I have not had the car that long but i finally filled my Tank all the way up for the first time and I have been noticing when i am parking
and hit the brakes i can hear the gas moving around the tank it sounds like. I do not recall hearing this noise before on half tank . Is this a common issue ? Please let me know what you think.
My driver door armrest does not look so great. I am thinking about ordering that specific part. I am wondering if anyone has changed there before and how complicated is it? thanks

Hey all, on my 2017 entertainment I always have to press the home ( big center ) button to activate/start the gps when I start the car. Is there a way to have it turn on by it self? Even better, I would like the clock to be the main screen and to activate the gps only when I need it. Is there a way to do this. Thanx.
Hi, my problems just continue. The dealer is no help. I have had a case opened with Acura since April ( I bought the car March 20th). Still cannot listen to music with the exception of the radio or Sirius. System still freezers and car play doesnt work. What do I do next? Attorney General, Better business bureau, attorney? Any suggestions?
Had these around for a project that I never got around to. All clips are good, chrome portion painted with black plasti-dip, can be easily removed if you like the chrome look.
It's not a big deal, just really weird. I noticed anytime I'm playing music from my phone, through bluetooth or android auto, the lower screen that displays the album, song title, and artist will display the last played track's album name. Switch to the next track, different artist, it shows the last album played again. It's always one track behind what it's showing for the album name. Anyone else?
