New OEM APP Sensor 37971-RBB-003 purchased from dealer for 2005 TL Auto. Determined this wasn't the cause of my problem. Paid $300.00 selling for $200.00 price include shipping.
I have a 2019 Advance - bought in early June 2019 and with about 28K miles. Last summer I had no problems. Twice this summer so far, very hot days and a closed up car have caused the Infotainment system to go bonkers. It alternates for no reason between daylight and nighttime lighting, keeps putting out messages about not being able to change drivers mode, loses bluetooth settings, etc.
All of my dash lights including the climate control buttons, the buttons by the cluster, shifter bulb and the bulbs by the sun roof switch are out. I thought it was a fuse but they all seem to be fine. I changed out a few bulbs to see if they where burnt out but the new ones wouldnt light up either. Any ideas what it could be?
Hey guys, so the cupholder cover in my 2012 Tech randomly broke this week. I searched around and the only fix I could find was to replace the entire cupholder assembly which was like $120. I'm way too cheap for that and I'm also an engineer with a 3D printer so I figured I could design something to fix it. After taking the cup holder assembly out I discovered that the cupholder cover pieces are connected via a rubber track so unless I had some flexible filament my 3D printer wasn't going to help. My cheap solution was this: Use a high strength stapler and connect the broken pieces with a zip tie. 1 zip tie and zip tie head attached via Staples.
So here are the steps:
1. Staple the pieces as shown in photo, they will not go in all the way so you can position the zip tie later.
2. Position one zip tie through both Staples,.
3. With a cloth underneath the cupholder cover, gently hammer the Staples down so they're tight on the zip tie.
4. Take a second zip tie and attach it to the first, once it's tight on the staple, cut off all of the excess. That should leave you something that looks like the picture above.
5. Remove the middle tab on the cupholder so the zip tie has enough clearance to move, don't worry, this part is not visible. See image below:
6. Reinstall everything, you're done!
I'm not liable for any damages you might incur, also there are videos on YouTube explaining how to disassemble the dash so I'm not going to explain that part. It might be worth adding some lock tight to the Staples so they don't wiggle out.
04 TL auto base...3rd gear pressure switch failure symptoms,,, what have you all experienced? My car runs, shifts everyway perfectly, just D light sometimes blinks. I'm putting in a new switch and changing fluid 3X's.

Just bought a 2004 tsx with 185k for my 16 yr old daughter. She was sitting in a parking lot with the a/c and the it started overheating. Found out the radiator cap was bad. Filled it up up with coolant and it seems fine. Got it home with the a/c going and after a few minutes the temp went to over half way up. Only the passenger side fan was on. I thought both the fans would be on but not. I don't know if I need to replace the radiator or if the drivers side fan is shot. Any ideas?

Hey everyone not sure if any of you have swapped out your incandescent interior lights for LEDs but I did and have some questions. I somehow blew the fuse (may have been from leaving door open and dome light set to auto) and a few bulbs went out. It caused my seats to not move when someone was getting in or out of the back. Changed fuse and it worked but I can't seem to get the dome light to work with multiple bulbs. Any idea of what else to check?
Also what size LED bulb works for vanity mirror? The ones that came with the kit are too wide and same thing for dome light. Side doors, map lights, trunk, and others worked fine.

I own a 2013 TSX. Couple days ago I got the oil changed from my regular mechanic and yesterday I noticed that SEL RESET button has stopped working at all. I use it very often to see the trip details and oil life so I know it was always working before. I have tried unplugging the battery to reset everything but it didn't help.
Could the mechanic have accidentally unplugged something from the bottom while draining the oil? I am not sure where exactly the connector would be for that button, but that's all I can think of. Any expert advise will be appreciated.
I CANNOT CONTINUE REPAIRING MY 2001 ACURA TL (SEDAN) UNTIL I GET A NEW ONE OF THESE. For some reason Acura dropped the ball on cataloging this part there was not even a part number stamped on this part that i need. I am gonna see people tell me a Auto Body shop can get one from somewhere I don't think so (do they have a secret parts creating Lab LOL! ! ! !) maybe they could straighten it out tac weld or something. But please if anyone has this Part or knows where i can get hit me up or even know what it Actually is Called (on paper).
Since getting my vehicle back from Service, two things are happening that were not happening before:
1- when the door is open I am getting a loud door chime
2- when I start the car, the A/c is always ON
I cant find where in the settings I can adjust these things. Can anyone help guide me please?
Coupe versions of SUVs are ridiculous IMO but even Porsche is caving to consumer demand and shipping a Cayenne coupe cause those things are selling well and the R&D costs are trivial to change the rear quarters of existing cars. Acura started the trend with the ZDX and maybe it's time again for Acura to try its hand at coupe SUVs. The RDX's roofline looks like it'd be easy to modify into a coupe tail.

Best - Handling and driveability.
Likes - Interior design and functionality, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), storage.
Dislikes - Acura Noise Creator (ANC), Hitch max weight only 150 lbs, poor tires, slow automatic shifting into corners.
Worst - Audio in the 12 speaker system, Tweeters are harsh, sound is not immersive, needs Loudness equalization.
Future upgrade - new Michelin tires, TBD.
The SH-AWD is great in the cornering. In driving steering is tight and with the SH-AWD I can feel the push through the corners if manually downshifting going in.
Long drives the cockpit is comfortable and with USB stick music, lots of entertainment, ACC is great.
For Madd Dog I will not mention the folding mirrors.
