fog lights...

So, my left fog light is cracked and finding a set or one that isn't made of gold is difficult at best.

I found a pair on ebay - seller listed them as fitting our car but they don't, they are round rather than oval.

Has anyone gone ahead and fit in a round fog light in the oval spot?

I'm just not sure what to do with this, I find it hard to believe (well actually not) that there isn't another option for fog lights other than OEM.

Looking to set aside some budget for applying a PPF when I order my RDX and am curious how much folks have done on theirs and how well it worked for them - did you go full hood and fenders or do a partial (like just the forward facing parts of the front?)? How much did you find doing the full hood benefit? TIA.

I installed a double din in my 2005 tl with navigation. I have everything working except the steering wheel controls. I used pin 3 (green/red) as the key wire and pin 11 (brown wire) to the ground wire. I can't get them to work when i go to the settings and steering wheel controls. Has anyone done this and have any suggestions on if im not doing it right. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,

I screwed up with my 2010 TL w/tech, by pushing "yes" on deleting AcuraLink data (data rest) when I tried to delete Diagnosis Messages in AcuraLink.
Yea, went into Diagnosis Mode, by pressing 3 buttons (Map, Cancel and Menu) together.

After then, my navi won't retrieve GPS satellites at all. And after it shows OK button and push OK, it goes back to satellite seeking screen over and over.
I parked at parking lot with no trees, no building in several hundreds yards around, no luck.

In the Diagnosis Mode, I can retrieve satellites manually alright. GPS information screen shows 7-8 satellites in use after few minutes, but it is reset every time I get out of Diagnosis Mode.

Please somebody help me with this.
I can not go to dealer in Japan. There is no Acura dealer, and Honda dealers refuse to look at my TL at all.

Curious, sister's leasing her RDX and I wanted to do what I do for everyone in my family with a drop in filter, but I don't see any.

You see Hondata and a Downpipe, but no filters, could a Accord 2.0t or Civic Type R's work or naw?

Any word on anything coming out or not yet?

Multi HVAC Blower Motor Failure

This will be the 3rd time I'm replacing the hvac blower motor in this shit 2016 ILX. When replacing it the 2nd time I took the motor apart to see what was making this faint burning smell and sure enough the bearings where eating it's self and aswell as the brushes and the turbine, creating this very fine dust that when checking the tubing vents right after the blower motor where coated with it. I wiped down the inside on the vents as far and I could reach and replaced the blower motor. Now it's doing it again 3rd time this is just another stupid Honda design.

-When I install it myself 30 day warranty
-The dealer installs 1 year / 20,000 kms

ILX now has 232,000ish kms

Takes 10 mins to replace, remove plastic cover with pull tabs and the motor has 3 screws and unclip the wire harness , so I'm going to get the dealer to do it this time as I'm sick of paying $70CAD for a motor every year.

I get the dealer to save the old motor and will take it apart to pictures to post here.

Now my question is does any one here notice this or are you all just a oblivious!!! because it know it happening you guys just don't pay attention!!! I bet you guys don't even replace the cabin air filter.

if I get an ECU (engine computer) from a junkyard or wreck that has matching part numbers can it simply be swapped out and used or is there any information that needs to be programmed into it by a dealer?

Car:; 1996 2.5 TL (5 cylinder) with auto trans.

Considering doing a black roof wrap on a 2019 A-Spec (Lunar Silver paint).
Any thoughts or recommendations? Glossy or flat black? Definitely want something higher quality that will last.

I traded my 2016 NX Lexus in on a 2019 RDX. Lexus dealer was able to change my temporary turn signal count from 3 to 5 blinks on my steering column blinker switch. Is this available on the RDX? It was changed by a computer setting in the system. Has anyone had this changed on the RDX?

I think its very ingenious to leave off the spare tire and providing an on-board compressor with a sealant switch, however living in the real world I would like to have a REAL replacement in case if the liquid goop doesn't seal up the cut in my tire. So has anyone ordered a 20'' donut tire and fit it in the space under the 2019 RDX bumper? Also if not, Is it safe to order any size donut spare and use it if the other 3 are 20's? Have the engineers considered that possibly of running a 18'' on one tire with a 20's on the other 3 with an "ALL-WHEEL" drive vehicle?

2010 RDX HID Headlight Question

One of my headlights has started turning pink and I'd like to replace both of them. In my 2010 RDX it looks like I need a D2S bulb. What brand, kelvin rating, volts, and wattage should I get?

I need to make sure I order the right ones, because I'm going to have my mechanic install them. Basically looking on RockAuto and TheRetroFitSource. Thank you in advance!

Have you noticed the venting on the 2019 RDX lower front fender in front of the front tire. Anyone concider of installing an LED light strip in the vent which would light up with turn signals? If so post an stall How-to-do?

Hello all 2G CL owners I have a 2003 CLS and have run into the dreaded transmission issue for the second time. The good this is that the second tranny lasted 90,000 miles. I'm making this thread basically to see if anyone knows of a good aftermarket tranny. Specifically a sequential auto. I have the 5 speed auto at the moment.

About my RDX...
My RDX as 280000km (174000miles) And as with no trouble beside the wastegate on the turbo. Now in my garage waiting for me to reinstall the Turbo.
Always used regular gas because never noticed the difference the times I tried Super.
Only things not original are breaks, spark plugs, liquids, belt, tires and the compresseur was replaced by Acura under Warranty.
Replaced the pressure switches of the Trans.
So its pretty much all original, there's no mods in my Car.

Very unreliable Acura :thumbsup:

2003 MDX no heat

Good evening
I have a 2003 acura MDX and just can't seem to find the problem.
it is only throwing luke warm air and in our brutally cold winters that luke warm air feels more like cool breeze.
I did a complete heater core flush as well as a radiator flush.
Installed new thermostat.
Fresh OEM coolent.
I checked the heater water valve by the firewall and it moves correctly.
I checked the vent position motor which works good too
I also checked the air mix motor which also works good.
The car itself runs great and doesn't over heat, comes up normally to operating temp. The system has lots of pressure.
the ac works good too, and the blower motor is functioning strong. I just can't get hot air
