Just got this 2004 MDX and initially I notice that the rear blower was not working, going through different forum online, I found out that its a faulty rear motor blower transistor (the fuse in particular). so I bridge the wire. (Cut off the fuse). The rear Blower started working but won't switch off when I press the off button on the panel.
The rear fan/blower comes on immediately once I switch to battery to listen to radio or put the car on ignition without turning on the AC/Fan. The off button doesn't have any impact on the rear blower. The ON button doesn't switch it on because its already on but allows the regulators to function. With the ON button pressed, I can increase and decrease the temperature but once the off button is press on the panel, the blower/fan continues to blow air and won't go off.
