To All My Acura Members
I just joined and I wish to share a very horrible and disappointing experience I have encountered . Like everyone on this site , I am indeed a dedicated and loyal Acura customer however I think this time around my next vehicle would be something else . This is my third Acura and Acura in the past has always been a well recognized and prestigious vehicle but its value and moral has declined and dealing with Acura client relations especially a Case Manager known as Katrina has not been satisfying at all . What a useless individual she is as a whole , it is sad Acura has people like Katrina employed in their company . She was a terrible representation of Acura and I am disappointed hires people with no respect and no communication towards their faithful customers like myself .
Coming from a leased 2007 TL then a leased 2011 TL and now 3 weeks ago to a 2015 Leased TLX Advance 4 Wheel Drive package . As a whole I am happy with my vehicle due to my efforts and my expense in making it what it is but I am very angry and upset with Acura Client relation for not helping me with an issue I had . On Monday 17th Nov 2014 , I encountered a flat tire and to my horror such an advance vehicle does not come with a spare tire at all , really ???? unacceptable indeed . I understand technology is changing however having a spare tire within any vehicle is vital also the dealers where I got the vehicle from never told me also the spare tire now is optional for Acura which is a NO NO now . In other words , as a customer you have to purchase the Acura spare tire now , very bad indeed . So this is one issue the second issue was Acura provides a sealant tire kit pump which did not work at all for me when I got a flat tire . So in other words I was stranded with no spare tire and its so called sealant tire pump was nonfunctional . Whats the point in having a sealant tire pump if it does not work , what a waste of time and a shame to have in such an advance car when it does not work . So at this point by vehicle was towed and I paid for it when it was so supposed to be free per Acura road side assistance . Katrina my case manager blamed me for not reading the fine lines in this vehicle not having a spare tire so basically she shifted the blame to me rather than helping with the problem hence she did not do her job also she told me the sealant pump that Acura gives will not work on big hole or cut or slash in the tire so basically we as Acura customers need to measure a hole or slash when we get a flat in order to make sure the sealant pump works , what a nonsense thing to tell a customer really are you serious ?????
Rather than Katrina helping me she spent most of her time accusing me . Anyway on top of that my four wheels came with wheel locks that had no wrench within the tool box of the car to remove the tire that was flat and the key wheel lock did not work , extremely bad for a new vehicle to encounter . My car was disabled for two weeks and when I received the vehicle it came with Goodyear eagle tires that were not run flat at all therefore when I encountered the flat tire , Ms. Katrina did not want to fix my flat tire for free because the vehicle was disabled and was not able to move due to their fault as a whole of not having a spare tire and their sealant pump not working , I could not take the tire off and fix it myself so for 2 weeks Ms. Katrina never helped or never got back to me with a solution and when she did she blamed me . Bad service indeed , I then got tired waiting so I towed my vehicle to a tire shop removed the tire and placed a temp on it for now . I then reached out to Acura of paragon which was another waste because at the moment I am still waiting for a replacement on that stupid sealant tire pump . I am not dealing with Katrina anymore because she is indeed a waste and the reason for my post to ask everyone out their to please be careful and check your vehicle for a spare tire , make sure you have one in the vehicle . Also the so called sealant tire kit pump DOES not work please get a air tire pump on your own for your vehicle . This is a safety issue and is very dangerous for a driver if there is no spare tire or tire pump .
I am very happy now because as I continue to wait for my new sealant pump which I would not use ever again as it is not effective guys !!!!! I bought a new tire air pump and I bought 4 new Michelin run flat tires for my vehicle waiting for Acura paragon or that stupid case manager Katrina my 2015 would of been still disabled . How disappointing as a whole , also I bought a wrench and removed the wheels locks on all tires too . This entire incident was very upsetting because I expected better from Acura Client relation , this is my last lease with Acura after this I shall go elsewhere . However I shall always love my Acura vehicle and I was fortunate to be a third time Acura customer but this is my last time , the road has come to the an end for me . To all Acura lovers out there , just be careful and don't encounter what I faced .
I must say the Acura 2015 TLX Advance 4 Wheel Package vehicle is indeed a wonderful car and I am thankful to have it . I encourage anyone to get it but make sure you check this vehicle first with the items that it comes with . Take care guys and thanks for reading my post .
