I currently own a 2011 RL Advance, and I when I was in Boston on a business trip, I took a look at this Acura RLX '14 w/Navi. I was quoted 28.5k to trade RL into private dealer, which I personally think is fair. I've owned the RL for a year, but the RLX very much impresses me despite its shortcomings. If your reading this forum, you probably know all about what the RLX has to offer. I could go on for days talking about how the RLX is superior to my RL. However, here are just a few problems with me upgrading to an RLX from RL. I haven't made the purchase yet, but am highly considering it, due to cliff drop depreciation values for RLX. Here are my big problems though. Despite these, the RLX is much more nicely designed on the exterior and interior than the RL.
Problems with RLX Base /navi:
-No SH-AWD
-Harsh Ride
-Many RLX owners reporting various problems
-No wood interior
-No CMBS, ACC, Power Fold Mirrors, Backup Sensors
-Not liking the style of base RLX wheels
-Car simply doesn't drive as nice as the RL does
-No sunshades
-Hard to use controls
