2005 TL Radio making loud noises.

I saw something on the Forum related to this, but there was no reply.. so I thought I would start a new thread.
Yesterday my radio stopped playing music, and would make loud single sounds into the speaker, that grew in intensity until I turned off the radio. I thought it might be the blue tooth, so I turned it off on my phone, shut down the car.. then after waiting a few minutes started the car and the radio started working fine. I have a feeling this problem will be back...

Any ideas ??
