Changed Engine Mounts-- Damaged Transmission?

Hey guys. Car is '99 TL, 200K miles.

I finally took the plunge and replaced the rear motor mount. It was original and I was told by a couple shops that it was bad. The car jerked more than normal when putting it into reverse and shifting was not silky smooth as it used to be.

I found a DIY on here and changed the rear mount without removing the bracket. I loosened the mounting nuts on the front mount and the 2 trans mounts as not to stress them when lifting the engine. Upon lifting, I saw that the 2 trans mounts were nearly broken so I replaced those too.

I had some trouble with the front trans mount. However I finagled it, it would not fit in. I continued to jack the engine higher to provide more clearance. I realized I had the mount in backwards! When i turned it around, it was clear that the engine was jacked up very high-- about 1-1/2 inches higher than necessary for clearance for the trans mount.

I put everything back together and went for a test drive. Reverse was fine but when I put it in drive, the car barely moved. It feels as if the transmission is partially in neutral and only 1/2 of the power is going to the wheels. D3 does the same, but gear selector in 2 and 1 move the car as normal.

Did I damage the shift cable between the gearshift and the trans by lifting the engine too high? Or worse?

I pulled the clock backup fuse and disconnected the battery to reset the ecu and the problem didn't go away. Check engine light and traction control lights are on.
