I drove some relatives to JFK airport and parked in short term parking lot as I did many times before. When I return to my car after saying my goodbyes, I see this...
No note on window or anything :whyme: Looks like I'm gonna go through insurance on this one... seems like it'll end up costing a shiny penny. I have an appnt tommorow with my insurance company.
I've gotten into a few accidents before in New York with my beater Accord and never really worried about the value going down because I'm driving that thing to the ground. However, I had plans to sell this ILX Hybrid in the somewhat near future. Would I be able to try to collect diminished value for the ILX? It's not a huge job, but body work is body work, and is a valid excuse to assess a lower value on a car - especially a newer premium one.
Also, I have rental car coverage for $50/day, $1500 max. Last time I got a loaner from my Acura dealer, the receipt said it was $45/day - Is it possible to get an Acura loaner car and have Geico foot the bill as opposed to getting a crappy enterprise car?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and with my luck, this happens the same day I get my car detailed
