I'm looking to add a roof box to my '14 RDX. I have the factory rails & crossbars installed.
One major restriction is that since I plan on leaving it attached to the roof most of the time, I need to fit into my garage & therefore I have a box height restriction of around 14". This rules out all Thules except the low-profile Alpine boxes, but they're all too long & don't allow access to the rear hatch when installed.
I started looking at Inno, and the Shadow 15 or 16 series looks like they would fit the bill. But, I can't find much fitting info online. Their website says '13+ RDX model fitment is "TBD" (wtf). I'm sure either box would work with the factory rails but I'd really like to know if the length restricts rear hatch access. Spec length of both boxes is 78.7", which might be tight, or too long.
Has anyone here had experience with these Inno boxes? Or have any other recommendations? Keeping in mind my requirements - low profile, and allows access to rear hatch.
