I just picked up a Rola Hitch Mounted Cargo Box for my MDX. It has 13 cubic feet of storage space. It also has a swing away frame so I can open the hatch without any restrictions from the box. We drove 140 miles back home and saw no reduction in gas mileage. I bought it on eBay for $250
Since I didn't have roof rails and with all the problems finding a cargo box that fits the MDX I thought this was a great alternative.
