Lowering Springs plz help

I'm considering just a mild drop less than 1.5 inch..
I'm looking at the Tanabe NF210 springs, the drop is about 1.1 inch and my car is about 49k miles is it ok to lower with springs and keep the stock shocks? Or swap out the Oem shocks with the aftermarket ones that is for lowering is a must?
Has any members dropped on any type of springs with Oem shocks?
Please share how is the suspension holding up on lowering springs.
