I'd like to see Acura do two things:
1. Offer (and advertise) rebates. They don't seem to like those, since they think it cheapens the image, but it does something more important - it sells cars. Advertise a $5,000 rebate or whatever (which they're giving quietly anyway), and people see money. That gets their attention and brings them in to see the car.
2. Have an "event". Lexus has the December to Remember, Infiniti has their thing, Cadillac has theirs, etc., etc. But Acura doesn't have a defined selling event that I'm aware of. They would need to offer some legitimate deals, but they could move some cars. Maybe a third-quarter event - the October Fall-ing Prices Event or something. Make a big deal of it on TV and in newspaper ads, decorate the dealerships, and move cars.
