Considering selling my Type-S. New house, new needs, etc. and it's about time to move on to the next project. The engine is still young and healthy!
The mods I have done over the last 4 years are in my signature... A few other details are:
MRP (Moroccan Red Pearl)
114K miles
water pump/timing belt changed @ 97K
new Conti DWS tires (~8K on them)
new brake fluid full flush/bleed (~1 mo. ago)
new rear brake rotors (stoptech slot all around)
new rear caliper (1) - seized during winter
new brake pads all around (~5K on them)
all fluids and service done regularly
full synthetic oil/k&n filters always used (just changed)
synchromesh friction modified trans. fluid=no 3rd gear stick
new CV axles/joints summer 2014
LED signals all around (switchback in front)
LED license plate bulbs
I have full original exhaust and original factory suspension I will include with the asking price of $18K.
Another option I am considering is selling the exhaust separately - it is in great condition and RV6 craftsmanship and sound is unmatched ($2000 new for the j-pipe and dual exhaust - I'd sell both together for $1500).
My asking price came from a fair market price of ~16K for a rare 6-speed, and about half the cost of the parts I'm including on it.
I'll entertain serious, reasonable offers only.
