So, I've spent a lot of time searching and I can't find a good thread that has one post that sums up what the current A-spec Suspension part numbers are. And, since it seems like they are continuously changing, I wanted to start a new thread to see if anyone had up to date info for those like me to use. I have an 08 TL-S KBP 5AT and want to go with the current part # for the MT A-spec suspension kit. Looking at threads, I thought I had it figured out until I emailed a vendor claiming to have them all in stock (since they are getting so hard to find this was surprising to me).
I sent this:
"I have a 2008 Acura TL-S 5AT which I'm trying to find A-spec suspension for. Although the car is an AT, I'm looking for the MT suspension as I have read that this allows a more level stance. Some research shows that the part number is 08w60-sep200a. Is this suspension available, or would I have to purchase the MT Sport Suspension kit (which I believe is the same spring rates and dampers), 08W60-SEP-202A? Are these the same kit, just different numbers? "
And I got this in response:
"The part number for the type/s manual trans is 08W60-SEP-201B. 08W60-SEP-202A is for a non type/s model.
For your model, you would need the 201B. Only the manual trans is available."
So, what is correct here? Everything I've read says that all of the manual suspension kits end with an "A" but I'm being told that 201B is the manual kit. This place has the best price I've seen at this point, so I'd like to order from them, but I want to make sure I order correctly.
Sorry for beating a dead horse here, but hopefully someone can confirm the correct # for me.
