Probably few of you already read my comments about TLX vs 4g (which I loved) I decided that it was the time to let her go. No issues with the car , probably just with myself :rolleyes: .
After bouncing back and forth between a Macan (hell of the car but 11 month to wait!!) then a SQ5(very nice machine , actually my hearth this is wanted instead of Macan unavailability ) and the C400 (not too impress with the ride quality , nice engine but a lot of road noise in the cabin , more than TLX ) , I came to my senses (actually the wife...) and I decide that the TLX is still the best value for the hard money earned.
I went with V6 SH-AWD Elite white/Expresso . I'll get it on next Monday as I need to install the summer tire on my 4G to give it back and I can do that only after March 15 (law in Quebec) .
Actually what decided me to get the TLX was after I did this week another test drive with a 2015 build and I think I felt an improvement on Throttle and gearbox response . I also use the paddle shifts and it was quite responsive to downshift and I said "Ok , I can leave with that" .
I asked the salesmen to give me an 2015 build if he wants my deal and we went together on their stock lot to find out the build dates for his 3 Elite's on stock. First was a build of Aug 2014 with a sticker on it "Fail" (the gearbox issue!) ,second was actually the one on shop floor built on Dec 14 and finally the third one was the ONE , built on Jan 15 ! we took it out of the lot and move it on sold cars area.
But again because my hearth is still to SQ5 I said I'll lease the TLX for 3 years up to new SQ5 is coming on the market and become "mature" or even a refreshed MACAN eventually.
Anyways, for now I'm still on Acura family .
