Parchment durability

So we are thinking about moving up from our 2006 MDX to a 2014 Adv/Ent. The parchment provides a nice contrast and lightens up the interior nicely. However, two separate salespeople have confided to me that if you wear jeans a lot, the parchment will become stained over time. In fact one said the parchment seat at the autoshow looked terrible after three (3) days.

I'm normally pretty good about keeping my leather seats in shape, but that is just a simple treatment once or twice a year. Anyone else have parchment and can you comment on the durability?
