Hello everybody, Just purchased a 2007 Acura TL from a dealer, and within the second week, the left headlight went out, So I went back to the Stealership to get it replaced, and they told me it would cost about $1800.00 to get it up and running(FML), Turns out it needs a Ballast, igniter, bulb.
The reason they want to charge me so much is because I lost the little Clip or retainer spring that goes between the Headlight Assembly and HID Bulb as pictured below(the letter C), And they told me they don't carry that part separately and I'd have to buy a whole new Headlight Assembly.
I cant seem to find it anywhere online and I'm not sure if its even called that, So I'm going to buy the Ballast And Igniter online and just take it to a mechanic, So if someone can help me find that clip online Id really Appreciate it. Thanks.
