WHOA! Torque steer in my 06' TL 6mt

So I have have been driving my new 06' TL long enough to burn one tank of gas and can I just say I love this car! Seriously feels good to be a part of the TL team. But I definitely have some torque steer going on. Pulling to the left a little when I drop a couple of gears and deploy my right foot.
Anyone else have this? Common?
Car has 80k miles, very very well maintained.
