My transmission has been slipping a lot recently in automatic. I usually drive in D5 but Ive been putting it in D4 and the transmission still slips. Ive been trying to teach myself how to drive in sport shift, in hopes that the transmission wont slip. Ive never driven a manual before so Im just curious as to what RPM do you up shift gears at? Ive been shifting at 2000 RPM but Id that too early? Also, do I have to manually downshift or will it downshift automatically?
