PNP Intake manifold and Runners Question

Ok, so I am getting Ported and Polished intake manifold and runners for my 06 base TL. the person doing the work is reputable however I am conflicted.

I have asked about Port matched gaskets and the response I got was to use Copper Silicone. something inside me says done use silicone for gaskets, let along in a place like that.

am I over thinking this and it is fine or should I really be using Port matched Gaskets?
