Defective headliner

The fabric on the ceiling of my TLX (apparently referred to as a headliner) near the overhead console is separating from the trim piece. I've attached a photo for reference. I'm not sure if it was like this since day one or if it has happened gradually over the past month. While the affected area is very small, it still concerns me as this is a brand new car and could worsen over time.

Today, I took it to the dealer and was told that the entire headliner piece was somehow cut too short during the manufacturing process and will have to be replaced. The material has to be ordered and so I will be bringing the car back again next week. I am not sure if this is just a random mishap with my particular unit but figured I would share so that others can keep an eye out for it as well.

I'm more than a little frustrated since this will be my third trip to the service department in the one month or so that I've owned this vehicle. As you might recall, my initial problem the missing lock confirmation beep. This was attributed to a "wire" that was never connected at the factory. I'm thinking about calling Acura's corporate office to complain as these issues (admittedly minor) are not only a major inconvenience but are also leading me to question the overall quality of this "luxury" vehicle.

Sigh!
