O4 Alarm went off and rear door sensor

I have a 2004 Acura TL and the alarm went off the other night. I went on the forms and read about hood switch, but then I noticed that my rear door dash indicator was always open.. I pulled the rear door sensor and it seems to work just fine. It drained my battery so I had to unplug the battery.. If I run the rear window on that door it makes the dash indicator go away..

So is it possible the interconnect at the other end of the cable of the door switch is tarnished? Anyone else had this problem? Right rear door..
