Ok......
2005 acura TSX Automatic.
The vibration occurs mainly 60+ mph. It happens coasting in drive, coasting in neutral, accelerating, or decelerating at high speeds. It feels like an out of balance tire but its not. It doesn't change when turning left or right.
I've tried 2 new sets of tires and had the rims and tires load tested at the Acura dealership. Balanced 4 times between 2 different new sets of tires. Tires and rims are perfect.
Not the motor mounts as inspected by me and the dealership
Not the brake rotors as changed by me twice. I didn't like the first replacements that needed to be installed so I did a 2nd higher performance set.
Bushing and motor/transmission mounts are good.
I pulled the right CV inner and looked at the joint and axle. I saw no abnormal wear what so ever. I did leave the CV join attached though... just cleaned out the grease and looked inside. I did not looks at the drivers side.
But the vibration occurs without accelerating. Vibration increases in frequency as the mph increases. Typically the CV joint is a under load/acceleration issue. Have you experienced this problem without placing the CV joint under load?
Acura dealership doesn't know what the issue is either. Issue started at 65k miles.
Any thoughts?
