So I brought my car in on 8/28/19 to fix an issue pertaining to the drivers seat not moving back the proper Driver 1 setting. Was told the actuator was defective. When I picked up my car the next day I was told there was a new recall that they became aware of that day having to do with the clock not working properly. They installed a software update intended to fix the clock issue, mind you I did not have, & now because of that update nearly all my favorite's are gone from navi. When I tried to add them back I got a message saying they already exist when they don't. Sound familiar? Also I can not move the position of the favorite's for home screen, the radio or navi, a problem the last update in February had fixed.
So I guess the moral to this story is, if you get a recall having to do with the clock, not have it fixed. If you bring your car to the dealer for any reason, even an oil change, be sure to tell them not to act on the clock recall. AGAIN I FEEL LIKE ACURA'S GUINEA PIG OR LAB RAT. Oh by the way the dealer has no idea when the next Acura update, all has been expecting since March, will come out or what it would aimed a fixing.
