FS: 2019 Acura RDX OEM all season floor and cargo mats set - Memphis, TN

I'm getting rid of my RDX, so selling the OEM all season floor mats. I only used them maybe 4 months so they're in great shape. I vacuumed them in the pic, but haven't wiped them down.

Asking $125 for the whole set which is half price I paid, but the bad part is pickup local to Memphis area only, as too expensive to ship.

Hello everyone, so I own a 2004 Acura TL 6spd. I recently discovered that my wipers ceased to function completely, but the wiper fluid can still function and spray my windshield.

now upon research I found that my car was part of a recall on the wiper motor failing due to a manufacturing defect. So I called Acura and it appears my vehicle has already been serviced for this issue.

After checking my fuses and confirming that they are all good. I looked online and saw that it wasn’t that hard of a job to swap the windshield wiper motor. So I went to a local parts store and purchased one(remanufactured). I start the process of removing the old motor, and before properly installing the “new” motor, I quickly connect it and see if it turns over. Unfortunately, nothing happened when trying to activate it.

I ran a multimeter to see if the switch was getting power, and it was. The only two things I can think of is either A) the motor I bought was defective or B) the wiper switch is defective.

so the question I truly have is, does anyone have instructions on removing the wiper switch so that I can test it with a known good one? I can’t seem to find the proper one online anywhere for they 3rd gen TL.

Hello and thanks for the add.
im having a problem with voice command on my 2012 Honda Jazz i-vtec exl.

I can pair my android phone with blue tooth....I can answer incoming calls.....and dial out....using pad display buttons.... however... when i press voice command button on wheel to verbally call there is a picture of phone on dash but no beep to signal when to speak.

I have googled the life out of this... thought maybe my phone not compatible but have used daughters iphone and same problem.

A Honda rep suggested a diagnostic test.... for the price of my soul!!!!!

Any info would be appreciated

Warning, this is a bit of a wall of text, but I have a couple questions in here, I'll bold those for reader convenience, and some info on some weirder problems that may help someone who's wanting to rip out their hair at some point.

So it's been an interesting year and a half or so for my 08 TL. As I had a few parts need replacing (O2 sensor, evap purge valve, air intake hose, etc.) and some big services (timing belt package, spark plugs, etc.) I've been really putting my time and energy into treating my TL well to see it to some excellent 200k mile+ golden years. It's generally had none of the common TL problems (cracked dashes, transmission issues [which it shouldnt as an 08, but my gratefulness is still there], early engine mount death.), and other than some of the small parts and regular service needs as mentioned, had only had it's alternator needing replacement until recently. This last year we started getting missfires. They were getting severe. We pulled the plugs, which had been replaced maybe 10k miles or less before and all of the nodes were burned down entirely. I replaced them...missfires returned a few weeks later, but the nodes were okay. I replaced them again...a few days later it returns. We replaced a couple ignition coils, but the problem continues. My mechanic was stymied...but I have lost a lot of confidence in them this week. The missfires themselves are never at idle (pull any coil plug off and all of them cause aggressive missfiring at idle). Move plugs and coils around and no changes, but it's not always the same cylinder with the issue. Anytime I open the throttle, that's when it hits, and someone I know suggested checking out the fuel pump as it sounds like insufficiency. I'm bloody well hoping this is the case as otherwise the mystery continues.

As such, on the fuel pump side, can anyone help me with ways to check if this is an issue? I know how to access it, but to check to see if the pressure it's putting out is enough, I'm not certain how to proceed. I could just replace it, but putting the money out before I know if it's the problem and being less certain about the specific origin of the problem makes me want to not skip this step.

Also, because of some of the expenses described below, I'm really wanting to track down this missfire issue because I don't want to sink money into a lot of the below, if I have this continued mysterious missfire issue that may slowly be damaging the car due to the fuel mixture and any compression abnormalities, and making it hard to keep driving or sell. Any other ideas to check for to track down this missfire would be MASSIVELY appreciated.

So, some other interesting things. I'd run into my car dying, not being able to jump it (despite cleaning off the nodes aggressively), and having AAA replace the battery as faulty and confirm it's not the alternator. Two weeks later, the battery is dead again. It's not the battery, nor the alternator, but a parasitic drain which is getting dramatically more aggressive. I bring it in, they find the AC compressor relay is stuck, keeping the compressor on all the time. They fix it, I drive off on a friday, stop for lunch in the city...and my car dies the moment I turn it off. Just before that, the AC went on full power, and woudn't respond or turn off. They take it back, and tell me the blower motor and it's relay are bad, and want 400+ damn dollars for it...thanks to websites like this...and the glory of youtube, it's under $100 of parts and like a 20 minute process with basically just a screw driver. They found that this issue was causing a fuse to blow and stop my car from being able to turn on or even access the battery (the AAA was stymied that he couldn't even get sparks from the negative plug). I'm hoping to actually just disconnect the relay on the street, turn on my car and drive home to work on it myself.

The one other thing really going on is the front and side engine mounts need to be replaced, but it looks like some basic wrench tools and a ground jack should take care of this for about 2-300$ instead of 600+! But again, I'm resisting replacing these parts before knowing the missfire issue can be tracked down and fixed. Any specific suggestions for places to buy these inexpensive, but keep OEM? I see a lot of painfully cheap ones and so expect I want to stick with OEM for these, but don't know if I'll find better options than buying direct from Acura/Honda (which always hurts my soul).

I appreciate any input and thoughts! I'm hoping to get back to another 50,000 loving miles with this car at least before it makes the trip to automotive Valhalla.

Post AV6 Swap

So I got the AV6 swap done and everything seems to be running fine. No issues when driving, car shift smooth and drives waaaay better. Only thing is the Neutral D5 don’t light up anymore...and sport shifting doesn’t light up or work anymore either.... work was done by a trusted mechanic in his own shop and I gave him all the info needed for the swap... I’m thinking something was missed but unsure of what??? Any help is much appreciated.

It seems when the car gets into VTEC the RPM hang/hesitate then I get a flashing check engine light..

06 Navi (personal) PIN problem

Waded through the search function, but can't find this...

Just picked up an 06 TL with Navi, and though I have both the radio and nav codes, the NAV doesn't allow me to delete personal info from 'user 1' because a PIN has been entered. Bought from a lot - don't know/can't contact previous owner. Any way to USER reset the navi?

Full disclosure: I found the 'hidden screen' and went to the Navi.ECU page. After it checks, it lights up a 'Mem Clear' button... will that help?

I ask, because I ran across a post from a 2g TL owner who said clearing 's-ram' (static?) did the trick for him. Assuming 3g has gone to v-ram/d-ram does this 'Mem Clear' function work the same way for us?

No guesses, please. Would prefer service techs or those who have actually tried this, to answer.

I ran across this website and I'm in the process of deciding whether or not to re-do my shark mouth grill. I'd like to explore the opportunity to retro-fit the new Acura diamond mesh pattern.

However, I could use some help with measurements/fitment. I fear that the new Acura emblems may be too large for our 3g front grill openings. Would anyone know how to determine the dimensions of the mesh piece or "A" piece? I found a a grill and Acura emblem from the new MDXs on eBAy.

Hey so I recently got an 05 tl mt I was looking into turbos and realized the headers onto the j32a3 are welded to the engine block. Does anyone know if the j32a2 out of the previous generation tl would be adaptable to the 3rd gen? In the end would be to build the motor and use the manual trans that's already in the car

Hello,

I recently purchased a 2012 Acura TL - Tech Package here in St. Louis. It has 114k miles and I am already figuring out it is due for a timing belt/water pump replacement. The car is running great and is in excellent condition. What are some of the items to check for or look into now that I am the owner?

1) Update navigation system?
2) How do I see if my maps are up to date?
3) Is there any software besides navigation that could or should be updated?

Was shopping used 2016 MDX Advance/Tech and they all seem to be in the 30-33k range. I keep getting offered new 2019 MDX Base for around 37k (looks like they are trying to move them off lots). Is it worth it to spend the extra cash for a new mdx? Price diff doesn't seem that extreme.

Hey everyone I have a 2002 TL Type S, my milage is at 205k and this morning I drove to work with no problems. When I had to leave, my car didnt start.

Whenever I turned the keys, I dont hear the click noise. I know the battery is good because my eletronics (windows, radios, dash, lights, etc...) was still working. I also tried to shift gears to neutrual and back to parking several times to start the car again but same result, dead silence....

Any idea or what can I do? Thanks in advance.
